We Love Our Community

Adopt-A-Thon

With the help of First United Mortgage and the amazing crew at Lawton Animal Welfare, Pam and Barry’s Team were able to help 17 dogs and 3 cats find their forever homes at our last Adopt-A-Thon. On the first Saturday of every month, Lawton Animal Welfare host an Adopt-A-Thon in hopes to clear the shelter. Pam and Barry’s Team loves sponsoring the event when they can. Barry says, “We look forward each time to helping our furry friends at Lawton Animal Welfare find a home, its truly worth every minute.” “To see the children’s faces light up and to see how excited the dogs and cats are knowing they finally get to go home, that is what its all about. We love being in our community helping any way we can”, said Pam.

Giving Back to the Food Bank

It has become a tradition to Pam Marion and Barry Ezerski to donate their 500th commission check of the year to a local organization. This year Pam and Barry had the pleasure to meet Marny Skindrud, the incoming Executive Director of the Lawton Food Bank, and to present her with a check equivalent to their 500th commission. Ms. Skindrud shared that the Lawton Food Bank already had a record number of people in need this holiday season and she expects this number to increase. Pam said, “We are extremely blessed to have a supportive community, so when we can give back to our fellow Lawtonians, we feel we are fulfilling our mission from God. Every donation, no matter how big or small makes a difference in someone’s life and we all should try.”

Spirit of Survival

Pam and Barry’s Team joined in the Spirit Walk during the 14th Annual Spirit of Survival in the Fall of 2019. Pam Marion and Barry Ezerski have been supporters and participated in the Spirit of Survival since its inception. The Spirit of Survival is an annual event hosted by Comanche County Memorial Hospital to raise money and awareness for the four cancer centers right here in Southwest Oklahoma. There are walks, runs, and bike marathons available for every age group.
